The event brought together project members, local leaders, and community participants to mark the traditional Pohela Boishakh with enthusiasm and hope.

The day was filled with a variety of cultural programs, including traditional music and dance, colorful rallies, and displays of local crafts. Participants donned traditional attire—punjabi, saree, and red-white outfits—symbolizing renewal and heritage. Traditional Bengali food stalls added flavor to the festivities, creating a festive environment of joy and togetherness. The highlight of the celebration was the community feast, where everyone relished the symbolic New Year meal of panta vat (fermented rice) and ilish machh (hilsa fish), reinforcing the deep connection between food, heritage, and identity.
